With profound grief and sorrow, we wish to share with you that on April 1, 2008, our dear friend and colleague Gordon James passed away peacefully in Toronto. His sweet loving mother and tender caring brother were at his side.

Gordon was Olympic Spirit Executive Producer, Impresario and Visionary. We are deeply saddened by Gordon's premature passing. Gordon was one of our most passionate team leaders and a true Champion of the Olympic Spirit. Gordon and his insightful contributions and creative ideas will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. And while he may no longer physically join us in our journey, we have no doubt he will always be with us in spirit.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Gordon's loving family - his mother Pauline, brother Rob, sister-in-law Diane, niece Laura and nephew Benjamin.
