With style and class, the XX Olympic Winter Games came to a spectacular closing. Torino is the largest city to ever host the Winter Games, and visitors to this historic city at the foot of the Italian alps were in for a special treat that only Italy could offer.
In accordance with International Olympic Committee tradition, IOC President Jacques Rogge called upon the youth of the world to gather in Vancouver in 2010 to celebrate the XXI Olympic Winter Games.
